Bridgestone wins first Citroën fitments

Bridgestone has announced that it will supply tyres for factory fitment on two new Citroën models: the 2010 C3 compact and the DS3, the first model in Citroën’s exciting new premium DS line. With these two new vehicles, Citroën is for the first time in more than 70 years granting its confidence to a second tyre supplier in Europe.

Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations, LLC (BATO) has announced price increases on the company’s Bridgestone, Firestone and associate brand consumer tires. The price increases of up to 5 percent on certain passenger and light truck tires for both the original equipment and replacement markets will begin on Jan. 1, 2010.
